MY FAVOURITE TV SERIES!

Is time to talk about Slam Dunk. This is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takehiko Inoue about a basketball team from Shohoku High School. It was serialized from 1990 to 1996. It was adapted into an anime series by Toei Animation. I always have practiced sports, and I loved the realism with which life happens in this series. For example, teammates fight each other in games; some players are injured and must be replaced; sometimes the matches are about to be lost, but they go back at the last minute; and a series of things that really happens in sports of this kind. The protagonist is Hanamichi Sakuragi, and he has a very special personality. He is a beginner in this sport, but he is convinced that he is the most talented player in the world. As the story progresses, Hanamichi learns many lessons for his life. There is a very special scene in which Mitsui - the former No. 1 player in Japan - is turned into a delinquent and returns to the

MY FUTURE JOB

I’m studying to become a social worker. It has been a long, difficult road; full of difficulties but also very enriching. I have learnt many lessons for my life. However, I must be honest. I can’t imagine myself working on something that I don’t feel any passion. Whatever I do, it has to have music and sports in it. I have thought about this a couple of times, and it really makes me feel like being at a crossroads. Why am I studying Social Work then? I decided to study social work because I wanted to transform society. It is a truly beautiful career; I can make a living, and help other people too. I believe I will be able to achieve it. So in order to make it possible, generating a different worldview is necessary. And the best thing about this, is that Social Work allows me to integrate other disciplines and knowledge to enrich the tasks of the profession (especially sports and music). Going to the subject of my future work, I would like to work on someth
